When my Panama Canal cruise itinerary arrived I looked at all the stops planned and saw Huatulco, Mexico. All of the others stops I had heard of and knew about, but Huatulco was an absolute unknown to me. But I’ve got to say it was wonderful. The area where the ship docked was simple. You walk from the ship to the local shops and restaurants in just a few moments. There isn’t much to see until you turn back and look at the Pacific Ocean, the beach, and the pure beauty of the place. We ended up spending our day simply lying in the sun, drinking Mexican beer, eating good food that many eager young guys wanted to bring to us – oh, and watching the hot men parading around on the beach. It was a great day.
